Today I'm curing your Monday blues with just that - a shade of blue. Everyone should have a chambray shirt in their closet. If you don't, add it to the top of your shopping list. Chambray looks good on everyone and is super versatile, therefore I consider it a wardrobe staple for both women and men. Today I'm sharing one of my go-to everyday looks that you can recreate in your own closet, three different ways. All you need is a chambray shirt and a vest, whether it be military, quilted or fur.
OUTFIT #2 :: Chambray + VEST
Option 1 :: CHAMBRAY + Military VEST
I paired it with my CHARCOAL PIXIE PANTS
A fun flat rounds off the outfit... you can use anything from leopard, to stripes, to polka dots or a bright color. These STRIPED FLATS are cute and comfortable; perfect for spring!
My CLARE V. LEOPARD FOLDOVER is my go-to clutch and pairs perfectly with other patterns like stripes.
Add in a neutral statement necklace like my CRYSTAL PETAL CLUSTERS necklace
Option 2 :: CHAMBRAY + Quilted VEST. You can wear your chambray with any vest in your closet. If you have a quilted vest, here's some inspiration for you ::
My exact Quilted Vest is sold out, but you can find similar HERE or exact on eBay.
I added my ROSE QUARTZ KENDRA SCOTT RAYNE for a touch of color and another fun flat.
Option 3 :: CHAMBRAY + Fur VEST
Many of you have a fur vest in your closet for the winter months. If so, it's time to throw it on over your chambray if you haven't already done so! No matter what shade it is, you can do it.
My Joie Fur Vest has been on repeat this season, but you can use whatever you have.
I kept it all black on bottom with a simple BLACK WEDGE, and if your vest has variable patterns/textures you might want to do the same.
So pull out your chambray and vests and try recreating some of these looks in your own closet, and stay tuned for Outfit #3 coming up tomorrow.
