10-Step, 10-Minute Makeup Routine

Happy Thursday! Today I'm sharing my daily 10-step, 10-minute makeup routine. You'll notice that I use mostly Painted Earth products; They are my absolute favorite because they are all-natural, organic, and provide coverage and wear that outlasts all other makeup brands I've tried. Not to mention Painted Earth is right here in Roswell, GA and I love shopping local and popping into the showroom to try new things. Want to schedule a time to play with all the goodies? Feel free to email me and I can connect you to the owner. Enough blabbing, let's get to the step-by-step ::

STEP 1 :: CC CREAM

Apply a small amount of Brightening CC Cream in your hands and rub until the color of the cream changes to your skin color. Then apply to face. This will brighten your pre-makeup face and blend imperfections before applying makeup.

STEP 2 :: BRIGHTENING UNDER EYES

Apply LIGHT colored concealer {like Benefit's BOI-ING} underneath eyes and blend with a foundation brush. Then, apply SAFFRON POWDER CONCEALER in the same way.

STEP 3 :: 'PERFECT EVERY THYME' POWDER FOUNDATION

This is the ultimate-coverage powder that hides blemishes and discoloration, fine lines, and is made with thyme. Simply use a soft-bristled, firm brush to apply all over face + neck.

STEP 4 | BRONZER

Apply Sunkissed Bronzer on your cheek bones, forehead, neck and on the tip of your nose.

STEP 6 | ROSEMARY & THYME BAKED MINERAL BLUSH

Apply blush to your cheekbones and tip of your nose. I LOVE the sheen of this blush; perfect for year-round wear, and comes in multiple different colors for different skin tones.

STEP 7 | BAKED MINERAL TRIO EYESHADOW in Mulberry

Apply lightest color all over eyes and directly under eyebrows. Then, apply the middle color in and above the crease but not all the way up to the eyebrow line. You can also apply it on your lids if you like a darker lid. Finally, take the darkest color and apply it in the CREASE of your eyelid and slightly above, depending on your eye shape. You should be able to see a HINT of dark peeking out when you relax your eyes and open them naturally. This eyeshadow trio in Mulberry is AH-MAZING. It looks great on all eye colors, and I've done it on a lot of people!

STEP 8 | EYELINER

I use this Superwear Pen Eyeliner because it gives you the control of a pencil liner with the effect of a liquid liner. It literally goes on like a super skinny marker. Start from the inside corner and work your way out, creating an outline. Then, go back and fill it in to your lash line. I like more of a cat eye, so I bring it out past the corner of my lid and thin the line out as I go.

STEP 9 | LIPS!

I always like to do my lips somewhere in the middle, or right before the end, of my makeup routine. It helps everything come together. I use this Superwear Waterproof Gel lip liner in Raspberry as kind of a "primer" for my lipstick. It gives me the color I want at that time, but also provides a foundation for whatever lipstick I want to wear that day; it helps it stay on longer and more fully, or I just do the lip liner and some clear gloss.

STEP 10 | MASCARA

A trick to making your lashes look fuller and longer is applying the first coat, waiting about 30-45 seconds {let your first coat dry just a little bit but not all the way} and applying a second. I love my Dior

And, voila! There you have it; 10 steps, 10 minutes and you're out the door. Amp it up with bottom liner and darker eyeshadow for nighttime, or play it down with no liner at all and a neutral lip for a more natural, everyday look.
