Makeup Monday on a Tuesday | Spring Cleaning in your Makeup Drawer

Happy Tuesday! It's been awhile since we talked beauty, so today I'm sharing some of my favorite spring (and year-round) makeup from Painted Earth Skincare. Spring is in the air, y'all (insert praise hand emoji) and that means not only is it time to transition our closets, but you can do some serious spring cleaning in your makeup drawer as well.

If you've missed my previous posts on this brand and haven't tried it, you MUST! Painted Earth is an all-natural, organic skincare and makeup line that has done wonders for my skin. I swear by it and now many of my friends and clients do as well. So do some spring cleaning in your makeup drawer and make room for things that will make your face thank you!

Below is a guideline for how long you should be using each item in your makeup bag ::

...Oops! I know I've missed the mark on some of these deadlines.

Now it's time to share my absolute swear-by's / go-to's / favorites / can't live without's ::

This is the ultimate-coverage powder that hides blemishes and discoloration, fine lines, and is made with thyme. Simply use a soft-bristled, firm brush to apply all over face + neck. It works wonders and will stay on ALL DAY LONG. I use this in place of a liquid foundation.

This is a miracle worker for dark circles under your eyes, blemishes, red spots, etc. The yellow tone neutralizes gray and red tones on your face, leaving your undereyes and T-zone so bright! I can't live without this stuff. Just apply with a foundation brush.

I use this Superwear Waterproof Gel lip liner in Raspberry as kind of a "primer" for my lipstick. It gives me the color I want at that time, but also provides a foundation for whatever lipstick I want to wear that day; it helps it stay on longer and more fully, or I just do the lip liner and some clear gloss.

Apply blush to your cheekbones and tip of your nose. I LOVE the sheen of this blush; perfect for year-round wear, and comes in multiple different colors for different skin tones.

Apply lightest color all over eyes and directly under eyebrows. Then, apply the middle color in and above the crease but not all the way up to the eyebrow line. You can also apply it on your lids if you like a darker lid. Finally, take the darkest color and apply it in the CREASE of your eyelid and slightly above, depending on your eye shape. You should be able to see a HINT of dark peeking out when you relax your eyes and open them naturally. This eyeshadow trio in Mulberry is AH-MAZING. It looks great on all eye colors, and I've done it on a lot of people!

I use this Superwear Pen Eyeliner because it gives you the control of a pencil liner with the effect of a liquid liner. It literally goes on like a super skinny marker. Start from the inside corner and work your way out, creating an outline. Then, go back and fill it in to your lash line. I like more of a cat eye, so I bring it out past the corner of my lid and thin the line out as I go.

I am also a huge fan of Painted Earth's LASH LUXE MASCARA and LUXURY LIPSTICKS. Some springy shades I suggest?
