Happy Thursday and BRRR! It's finally winter here in Atlanta and I'm not mad about it at all because that means more cozy sweaters, slippers, fires, and all things Christmas-y. Today I'm sharing some pants that are going to change your life. They are my new favorite "jeans" and I literally have worn them 8 days in a row and I'm not ashamed.
I saw these pull-on toothpick jeans on Liz Joy's instagram so I sadly can't take the credit for finding these babies (LOVE her feed if you don't follow her), but let me tell you they are AMAZING! You all know how much I love my pixies, and when I read reviews for these, the reviews said they rivaled the pixie pant which really sparked my interest. I have heard mixed reviews about this year's version of the pixie pant and mine from years past are still going strong, so I decided to give these a go.
Another piece of information to go along with this - I have not really loved my Paige black jeans that I got a few years ago. They aren't skinny enough at the bottom and the rise is pretty low and I like a high rise. SO, long story LONGER, I was in the market for a new black jean.
Y'all, there are so many things I love about these. I'll sum them up here :
-COMFORT. I'm all about comfort and these feel like leggings but look like super skinny jeans
-By not having a button and zipper in front, they don't bulk under any clothing
-High waisted with a thicker band around the top which means everything is SMOOTH & SUCKED IN
-Pockets on back so they actually look like jeans
-Made of stretchy JEAN material rather than legging material, again making them socially acceptable to wear as jeans
-FLATTERING. These are super super flattering. They are the perfect length on me (I'm 5'5") and they hug in and flatter where they should. I've always had thicker legs and feel super confident in these pants
-They go with any shoe. Heel, boot, bootie, flat, sneaker, you name it.
They are 25% off today with code THURSDAY! They are true to size. I'm wearing a 27. They will also stretch as you wear them so if they're a little tight in the dressing room, go with that size.
Basically, if you're in the market for a black jean (or if you want a skinnier, more comfortable black jean option), these are your gals. If I haven't sold you yet, I never will. If you try these out, I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comment section below!
