Happy Monday! February is here and I consider it to be the hardest month of winter to get through. It's dull and cold, there are no real Holidays that accompany it, and I think I can speak for everyone in stating that we'repretty much over winter by this point. So, let's conquer February in style! These wardrobe must-haves will help you battle the cold temperatures and gray skies in style and hopefully make February a little more bearable. {you can shop all my looks and favorites at the bottom of this post}
1. Fur {or Faux Fur} Vest... Keep warm and accessorize effortlessly. My collection of fur vests has grown this year and every one of them has been totally worth it {the Joie vest on the right is currently on sale!} . They are a true staple in my winter wardrobe; from wearing over color, all black, or even with an oversized sweater and some pumps.
2. Poncho / Cape... These have been on the blog recently and they are perfect for keeping warm and stylish during the cold weather months.
3. Sassy Statement Necklace... Bling things up with a fun statement necklace like crystal or a bright color. It will help bring your outfit together with a pop and you'll feel more put together in an instant.
4. The Perfect Tote... The tote is a year-round necessity. The structure makes it super versatile and easy to take from the office, to daytime errands, to a night out. My black Kate Spade tote has been my best friend this winter.
5. Block Heeled Bootie... Those toes need to stay hidden for at least 4 more months, so try a block heeled bootie to add some length to your legs and a little extra something to your shoe game. Black is chic and classic -- easy for dressing up, while camel is a more casual everyday option.
6. Bright Blouse... Brighten up your day with a bright colored or patterned blouse! I love cobalt because it looks so fabulous on everyone. Or, try a fun patterned number like my Anthropologie clearance find.
7. Maxi Cardigan... Another favorite of mine that keeps you warm while also adding a slimming effect. It's the cardigan with a little more flow to it, and it will keep you covered from head to {almost} toe.
