The Day-to-Night Summer LBD

Happy Friday! Just in time for your weekend plans... I'm sharing the perfect summer LBD that you can take from lunch with friends to date night out. This little black dress is so swingy, lightweight and flattering. I bought it for myself and have since unashamedly bought it for more than one of my shopping clients because it's so easy to throw on all summer long! The shoulder cut-outs with flouncy sleeves are super cute, and the slight flare shape is ultra-flattering.
PSA - It is a tad short (which I like for summer dresses) - just something to keep in mind.
I am 5'5" for reference.

My necklace was on sale & sold out, but I've linked two super cute similar ones HERE and HERE.

I've linked my outfit, plus a few other cute summer LBDs below. Happy Fri-YAY & happy shopping!

Your Go-To Summer Layering Piece | The Denim Vest | Plus, LOFT Sale picks!

You know that I am a MAJOR fan of vests. I recommend them to every single one of my clients because I think they are the perfect layering piece. Many people think that vests are only good for fall and winter, but I'm here to tell you that's FALSE. I love layering vests over maxi dresses, tank tops, dresses that feel too tight or too boxy, etc. etc.

I loved layering mine over this fun LOFT top (currently on sale - my 40% off picks are below) with flare crop white jeans.

The jist? If you don't have a denim vest, go get one NOW. I've linked them all below //

Now, for a SALE ALERT! 40% off EVERYTHING at Loft with code NEWNOW. Hurry! Shop all my favorites below //

Current Anthro Picks | Plaid Peplum + More

Happy Monday! I took a week off of social media because, well? I just felt like it. And I told myself that was okay and it felt GOOD. But today I'm back reinvigorated and I'm sharing some of my current favorite things at Anthropologie. I always love Anthro's stuff, but sometimes it can be hit or miss. I'm rounding up my hits, like this cute plaid peplum top and so many more, so YOU don't have to waste time on the miss's.

Designer Dupe | The Sisal Tote

Happy Thursday and one day closer to the weekend! Today I have a super exciting (at least in my opinion) post. You've seen me wearing my Clare V. Alice tote all throughout the spring and you better believe I'm still wearing it and will be all summer long! Although I do believe this bag is worth the hefty price tag because it's such a classic summer staple, I know not everyone is willing to splurge. SO - I have found you some dupes that are almost identical to this bag at a fraction of the price!! Plus, the real thing is almost ALL sold out. Etsy is one of my favorite resources for finding unique items like this. While I love finding a good Etsy steal, they sometimes don't last long due to quantities. So, if you've had your eye on this bag but were weary of the price tag, HURRY! Grab a dupe now. Ready, set, shop!

Bold + Bright with Willow Park Boutique

Good morning and happy rainy Tuesday! Today I'm brightening things up with this bold chunky necklace from Willow Park Boutique. What caught my eye about this piece was the fact that it reminds me of a Britt Bass painting! Bright, bold colors on this made-to-order chunky necklace make it the PERFECT summer necklace. This full look is from Willow Park Boutique, who you may have read about in one of my latest posts. I absolutely adore them and am loving all of my pieces from their online shop, including this embroidery detail top that is also perfect for summer with some white jeans or shorts
(PSA - I did have to size up to a medium in this top because it was a little tight on my arms and hips. PSA #2 - I have "more substantial" arms and I definitely have me some hips).

Stay tuned for a fun sip 'n shop with me and Willow Park boutique in the coming weeks!

Product Review | R&F Lash Boost

Who doesn't love long lashes? I spent many months getting lash extensions and while I absolutely LOVE the length and drama they added, I didn't love the cost or maintenance of them. When I heard about Rodan & Fields Lash Boost, I was super interested to try it, but also a little skeptical - especially when the price tag rings in over $100. When my friend Callyn sent me some to try (fun fact- Callyn and my mom grew up together and were best friends throughout all of high school. It has been so fun connecting with her through them!), I was super excited.

Today I'm sharing my progress and thoughts on this product with you! I've been consistently applying it for about 8 weeks now, and my lashes have NEVER BEEN LONGER. I get stopped by people asking "Are those your real lashes?" I even got asked by my dermatologist the other day if they were real, and what product I was using because she was so impressed.

When I started out I felt like my lashes, that are naturally long-ish, were short and blunt after months of lash extensions. I started applying the Lash Boost each night before bed. The application process is super easy - you just swipe a little bit on your eyelid above your lash line. A little bit goes a long way and at first I thought if I loaded more product onto my eye, it would help them grow faster but it was totally unnecessary. Plus, the less you use, the longer it lasts! Here's an outline of the process ::

-After washing your face and drying thoroughly, apply a thin line of Lash Boost to your eyelid ABOVE your lash line (key here is that you don't want to put it IN your lashes at all, because then it will get in your eyes)
- Let it dry for about 90 seconds before laying on your pillow, smearing it, etc.
-Let it work while you sleep!

I noticed results pretty early on, after about 2-3 weeks. I could tell my lashes were growing, and the progress only continued. Now I have MAJOR lash growth and with one coat of mascara they are so long that they sometimes hit the tops of my eyelids! I'm continuing to use the product and can't wait to see further progress! Here are some before + after shots.

BEFORE - it ain't pretty, y'all! Also note that this was taken in late winter, hence #pale and WHY is this bathroom light so horrid?!  (you can see I still had a few stray lash extensions lingering but aside from that, my lashes were virtually unnoticeable)

AFTER 8 WEEKS, no mascara - I know - it's hard to believe that I have ZERO mascara on!! See how much darker and thicker they are?!

AFTER 4 WEEKS with 1 coat of mascara... I am not lying - one coat.

AFTER 8 WEEKS, one coat of mascara -

That being said, I am a true believer in this. I don't sell R&F, and although I've tried it in the past, I don't even use their skincare. But the Lash Boost is the REAL DEAL, y'all, and totally worth the money - especially when you compare the cost to the upkeep of lash extensions. If you're interested in trying it, contact my friend Callyn, who is awesome and will be happy to answer any questions for you!
*Currently, she is running a SPECIAL - anyone who enrolls as a preferred customer, will receive a free mini facial! *shipped separately from the Preferred Customer order.

Sliding into Summer

Happy Thursday! It's almost the weekend and I'm sharing one of this summer's biggest trends - the slide. I was a little skeptical at first because let's be honest - a lot of the slides you're seeing look like something your grandmother might wear. BUT, I've actually come to love the slide because it's just so easy to slip on, and comfortable to not have to deal with an ankle strap, etc. I've also found that most of them are pretty flattering if they hit in the right spot and I've found LOTS of options are super cute and non-grandma-ish (not that there's anything wrong with grandmas - we just shouldn't wear their shoes!).

Shop my personal collection, plus all my current favorites in stores...

PS - You can find the twisted slides (mine are yellow - that color is sold out, but there are other colors and they're only $19.99!) HERE.

Summer Staple | Navy Dresses

Happy Hump Day! I'm giving myself a pat on the back because this is my THIRD day in a row blogging and I am so proud of myself. If I can get three blog posts up in a WEEK, I'm doing great, but my goal this year was to really amp up my blogging so I'm trying to follow through on that. Plus, spring and summer makes it so fun to blog because there are so many great summer staples! Case in point, I always love a good navy dress. There's something classic and timeless about navy and most everyone looks great in it. Today I'm sharing a fun navy dress from one of my new favorite boutiques, Willow Park. They are an online boutique that is local in Marietta, and the women who run it are awesome and fun! We met last week over champagne and shopping and if that doesn't make you my instant friend, I don't know what does. If you don't follow them on Instagram + their website, do it now! They have the greatest staple pieces with lots of fun jewelry and accessories. I'll be teaming up with them a lot in the near future to bring you so much goodness!

I love this dress because the lace top is so fun, it's lightweight, and the sleeves on it are a super flattering cut. I wore it on Mother's Day for church & brunch, and it's great for any summer occasion - from showers, to lunches, to date night etc.
*It runs pretty true to size - I'm wearing a small and am usually an XS/S, 5'5".

I am also in love with these earrings. The navy against the white really pops, and they're easily worn from day to night. My cut-out block heels are linked HERE (and under $50!) Since I had some questions about my sunglasses, I tried my best to find them but I got them at Nordstrom Rack several months ago. I believe that THESE are them, or at least the most similar that I could find!
