What I've Bought Baby Girl So Far + Other Updates

Happy Friday! I accidentally took the week off of social media - I have never been busier with clients than this fall! I can’t believe that I am already in the third trimester. This pregnancy has both flown by and dragged on at the same time! We cannot wait to meet baby girl. A few weeks ago on instagram I shared some of her clothes and y’all sent me TONS of DM's asking for links. So, I figured I would share what I’ve bought her so far (or should I say - mostly what Her LaLa (my mom) has bought her so far…) I’m also sharing a few of my favorite clothing items that I’ve been wearing nonstop the past few weeks/months!

What I’ve bought her: I have discovered a lot of little shops that have super cute and mostly affordable items. I’m listing them below:

Hallmark Baby (who knew Hallmark had baby clothes? But, they’re super cute!)

Spearmint Love

Kate Quinn Organics

PatPat

SK Creations for monogramming

Kickee Pants

Posh Peanut

Lou Lou & Company

MilkBarn

And of course I have done lots of things from Baby Gap, Nordstrom, H&M, Zara, etc.! Sharing some favorites below:

A lot of you have also asked about her closet system! It is from Wayfair and linked here (ours is the Weathered Gray color). You can install it with the shelves in the middle and racks on each side, but we decided with our closet size, this was a better fit! It’s great for older homes that have those narrow closets with no shelving, like ours! (I still haven’t added baskets which I plan to put her pants, socks, bows, etc. in. This was right after we installed it!)

Here are some of my favorite bump-friendly, comfortable clothing items as of late:

My nursery tour will be up on the blog in November, but here are the pieces you’ve seen in the snippets and photos I’ve posted! The wallpaper is Thibaut Tanzania and I purchased it through Miko + Boone Home. Everything else is linked below:

Pretty Fall Florals

Fall is coming (fingers crossed…!) and I love a great, classic and feminine dress that you can wear season after season. I’m rounding up my favorites for you (many of them bump-friendly for you preggos!), including this flirty floral maxi, below.

I am beyond obsessed with this dress; it’s lightweight and airy, bump-friendly (I’m wearing a size small) and I love the floral and ruffle detailing. It will never go out of style, and I plan to wear it sans bump in the spring!

Here are some other pretty fall dresses I’m crushing on:

The Fall Vest You Need + Spotlight on Grand Ave. Jewelry

Morning, friends! I'm posted up with my pumpkin candle going, pumpkin creamer in my coffee and a crisp... 99 degrees outside. Haha, kidding. The weather definitely hasn't turned yet but I'm not letting that keep me from enjoying all the fall things. Speaking of fall things, this camo vest! You need it in your life! I think that every woman needs a fall vest, whether it be a neutral solid or something like this one. I of course have both, and there's nothing stopping you from mixing it up either! I love this because the drawstrings on the side allow you to make it as fitted as you want, and it goes over literally EVERYTHING; from dresses to sweaters, tank tops and tees, from stripes to black to white, & every color in between. Size down from your normal size (I'm wearing an XS and have plenty of room)

This bodycon maternity dress (ASOS knocks it out of the park with their maternity clothing!) is another favorite that I plan to take into fall with a vest like this, or a long cardigan. Bump and budget-friendly!

The real reason I popped on here today is to tell you about Grand Ave. jewelry. They sent me this necklace and bracelet and I am so impressed with the quality and look. I love the daintiness of the necklace and the fact that it goes with EVERYTHING. Everyone needs a long gold necklace in their life and if you're in the market, this is a great option. This bracelet is another favorite because it's a statement but also simple and basic. I love how cuff bracelets look on other people, but I've never found one that worked on my wrist for some reason (I have thicker wrists and the cuffs would always turn to the side and pinch in). This is the first one that I have loved, is comfortable and fits me. I have worn it almost every day!
You can get 20% off your purchase with code LIFESTYLED20

If you're in the market for basic quality pieces that won't break the bank, check out Grand Ave.

Fall-Ready with Linen & Flax Clothing Co.

Happy Friday! Oh my gosh, y'all... can we talk about the weather this morning? Harrison and I took the golf cart up to our favorite breakfast spot and I HAD TO WEAR A JACKET. I can't describe how happy this makes me! I asked him this morning - where can we live that it never gets above this temperature at any time during the year? Because I want to move there. I despise the Georgia summer heat...

Anyways - the crisp in the air also made me super excited for today's post! I'm partnering up with Linen & Flax Clothing Co. here in Roswell to show you a cute fall outfit, done two different ways. In case you're not familiar with Linen & Flax, let me fill you in! You know I love shopping local and for a long time I've felt that Roswell lacked in their boutique scene. Linen & Flax started as a home store, and their clothing store is an extension of that. Like the Home store, their style and inspiration is casual chic, simple, beautiful you! They have such pretty, basic, and simple wardrobe staples! I find something every time I go in there and the store is just SO pretty.

Today I'm sharing how a simple layering piece can change the look of an outfit. Everything I'm wearing is from L&F, so if you're interested in a piece, swing by the store in downtown Roswell (984 Canton St, Roswell, GA 30075).
PSA - they do plan to do ship orders in the near future, just not yet.

I love this dress. It's by Cupcakes and Cashmere which is a brand that I have always loved. It's non-maternity but clearly stretches to fit the bump! I sized up to a M (this brand does run a little smaller) and I plan to wear this post-baby. I love the simple stripes and the cut! Plus, you can do so much with this basic dress:
 1) Pair it with an army green jacket (I am beyond obsessed with this one! Let me just say... you NEED it. It's $85, lightweight, flattering and comfortable. I am wearing a size small. You can wear it over anything from activewear, to a tee and jeans, to a dress or sweater!

2) Add a fun sweater like this fringe cardigan/poncho. I love the texture & ease of this one; you can literally take it with you anywhere to throw on if you get chilly. Not too heavy, not too light.

Can we talk about these booties? I was hesitant because I didn't think the height of these would be very flattering on my thicker legs. But, they work! I love the color, the suede and they are ultra comfortable. I plan to wear them with dresses, leggings, jeans, jumpsuits, you name it!

*Calling all locals!
I will be partnering with Linen & Flax for a Fall Sip & Shop on Wednesday, Sept. 12th from 6:30-8pm. I'll be there sharing my favorite fall must-haves, as well as giving style and outfit advice. I'd love to see you there so be sure to stop in!

Follow along with Linen & Flax Clothing Co. on instagram.

Jump on it! My Favorite Summer-to-Fall Jumpsuits

Happy Tuesday! Today marks 21 weeks with baby girl and every day has us more and more excited! We cleared out her nursery this past weekend and I'm starting to get things in the mail each day, so it will be coming together bit-by-bit! I'll share a sneak peek with y'all as soon as we get a few things hung / installed.

It's no secret that I love a good jumpsuit. I've also found that most of mine have accommodated the bump so far, plus they are so easy to take into fall with a jacket and booties. Today I'm sharing some of my favorites, like this full ensemble complete with a bomber jacket jacket and suede mules (seriously SO comfy!) Of course my jumpsuit is sold out in most sizes but I'm linking up some similar ones / other favorites as well.

These are seriously my favorite shoes. I wanted them in blush but they sold out during the NSale, and now all colors and most sizes are back in stock so I'm contemplating adding blush to my collection! Also love the black. They are so comfortable, flattering and easy to take into fall since they're suede.

Linking some favorite bomber jackets below so you, too, can take your jumpsuits right into fall! *In case you missed the blog yesterday, 20% off ANY WARDROBE STYLING / PERSONAL SHOPPING SERVICE, now through Friday! Details HERE.

Bumpdate : 20 Weeks

Happy Friday! I realized that I haven't really done a "bumpate" for y'all on the blog since announcing our pregnancy. We hit the 20 week mark earlier this week (YAY) so since we're officially halfway there, I thought I'd share some details about pregnancy thus far!

I have not taken a 20 week picture yet because my room is a construction zone and I haven't found myself in a dressing room :)

BUMP: It is growing at a rapid rate! I am starting to feel it push upwards more, making me catch my breath on a simple flight of stairs.. ha! I love my bump. I feel like I started showing a little earlier than most, and I really think that was God letting me enjoy this season just a little bit longer, making it that much sweeter after so much heartache and loss.

ENERGY: I feel amazing! At exactly 12 weeks and 2 days, I woke up and felt like a human again. So many of you can relate, I'm sure. It is such a crazy feeling going from being in a constant fog with no energy and lots of nausea, to feeling like yourself again. I am thoroughly enjoying the second trimester.

BABY: She is kicking and moving around like crazy most days! She has her mother's love for queso because after thoroughly enjoying a huge bowl of it at dinner one night last week, Harrison felt her kick for the first time! Before that, it was all little flutters and jabs that I would feel on the inside, but that he couldn't feel when he put his hand on my belly. It was seriously SO much fun for him to finally feel her. At all of our ultrasounds and dopplers she has been super active, and even waved to me on yesterday's ultrasound! SO SWEET.

DO WE HAVE A NAME? Yes, we do! But I won't be sharing it with you until she is born ;)

NURSERY: I told myself that after we hit the 20 week mark, I would really allow myself to start on things like nursery, registry, buying things (even though I have obviously started to do that and let's be honest - my mom is going NUTS with the baby girl clothes) etc. We had it painted last week, the light fixture and curtains are here, wallpaper comes soon and we'll be rolling! I plan to do a nursery reveal, but I'll show you snippets along the way

DUE DATE: Her due date is 1/1/19. Harrison and I are secretly (actually not-so-secretly) hoping that she comes in December so our deductible doesn't restart... ha! But we will be so happy no matter when she decides to come. I'd love a little NYE baby!

ARE YOU EXCITED TO HAVE A GIRL? I have always dreamed of having a girl. In fact, I've had my nursery planned out for years now and it's always been for a girl. I think since I wanted a girl so badly, I thought we were going to have a boy (which of course we would have been THRILLED about). So when we found out it was a girl, both Harrison and I were totally shocked! Harrison has also always wanted a little girl and will be the best girl dad ever (until she's a teenager and starts dating... then he will be the scariest dad ever). I can't wait to see him wrapped around her little finger.

CRAVINGS: I haven't really had any strong "I have to have this right now" cravings except for Ghirardelli triple chocolate brownies, which I only bake for half of the recommended time. They are gooey and amazing and have to be eaten with a fork. I also love baked potatoes,  but I don't think it's necessarily a craving - more of a "they are good on the tummy" kind of thing. I still get a little queasy over certain foods and baked potatoes are something I can always stomach. Another weird thing? I usually love ice cream and now I don't want it at all. I crave refreshing sweets like fruit, italian ice, popsicles etc. Nothing creamy like ice cream. Weird!

WEIRD THINGS HAPPENING?
1) Well, I peed myself the other day. How's that for some humility? Literally wet the bed... never thought I'd say I'm a bed wetter at 29 but there's a first for everything! Gotta keep it real with y'all... In fact I freaked out because I thought my water had broken and went to the doctor who confirmed that yes indeed, I peed my pants involuntarily. Oh, the joys of pregnancy!

2) The boobs are out of control! Can't say I'm unhappy about it either. I've never seen numbers or letters that big on a bra before... The only downside is they feel like I'm carrying around bowling balls and are constantly sore and ITCHY. Did anyone else have itchy boobs?! I'm the girl walking around in public sneaking boob scratches because it's literally unbearable.

I did want to take a second and thank all of you who reached out after we first announced our pregnancy and reading my post. (if you haven't read it and are interested, click here) Miscarriage is such a devastating thing and a lonely season of life. It helped me to know that others had gone through what I had, and I would love to be there for anyone who is going through it / has gone through it. Thank you to those of you who shared your stories with me, DM'ed me, and have emailed back and forth. We are stronger together and no one ever knows what you're going through unless you share (which I also completely understand is too painful for some people - we all grieve in different ways). Sharing and talking about it with others helped me through that time a lot, so if you are in that lonely, sad season, I know what you are feeling.

Any other questions for me? Just leave them in the comments below.

White on White + Korede Clutch Giveaway

Happy Tuesday, y'all! Today I'm sharing a fun white on white outfit (bump-friendly but non-maternity) that can go from summer to fall, plus a really fun giveaway! I love this dress because it is great for summer, but can transition into fall with a leather / denim jacket or any kind of layer. I am wearing an XS and it's very forgiving + stretchy! Plus it's on SUPER markdown... I paired it with this natural necklace and snakeskin clutch, making for an all-neutral outfit that still has pops of interest.

Speaking of clutches, I'm giving one of these away! I've partnered up with KOREDE to give one lucky winner this clutch (in your choice of color - comes in black, snakeskin and red). I love the size of it and it has all the right pockets for everything you need on a day / night out... phone, lipstick, wallet, etc.

If you haven't heard of Korede, here's a little bit more about the working mother who started this brand:

'The korédé brand was born out of a need. A need to be able to carry one bag that was reflective of my identity as a woman but with functionality to suit my identity as a mother. A need to carry just one bag and thereby not switch bags by occasion. A need to be authentically multi-faceted.
korédé means "Bring Goodness"
At korédé, we design for all those womaning. We define Womaning as a hero, doing the job of many, at times uncelebrated and  often stylish. We enter into the space of beauty infused with function. Our handbags anticipate the need for function in an unpredictable day with beautiful and timeless designs.'

I chose the snakeskin because it goes with everything, and I think it can be dressed up for occasions like a wedding, cocktail party, etc. But I LOVE the all black version too. Decisions, decisions...

To enter to win, head to my instagram and follow the instructions:
+ follow me & Korede
+ 'like' my photo and theirs
+ tag 3 friends in the comments section
A winner will be picked THIS Friday, August 3. Good luck!
