Happy Thursday! This is my sign-off post until February 2nd! Tomorrow we leave to sail around the British Virgin Islands with my parents and our best friends... the trip of a lifetime! I cannot wait for sunshine, blue water and lots of beach bars.
In light of all this warm weather in Atlanta lately, I thought it appropriate to talk about a closet essential that transitions easily from season to season. The casual blazer is the perfect outerwear piece that is structured and flattering, yet not only confined to the office. I have several of these in my closet; from solids to patterns and more. A casual blazer basically means 'cotton' to me. It's comfy and flexible but has the same shape as a blazer so it makes you feel a little bit more put-together than a run of the mill cardigan. It transitions from day to night seamlessly, works great in business casual office settings, and is taken easily from fall to winter, winter to spring, and even spring into summer.

Old Navy just put out their new line of fitted jersey blazers and I love how figure-flattering and lightweight they are. This one is perfectly springy and I love pairing stripes with polka dots or leopard.
So if you're looking for that perfect alternative to your work blazer or your boxy cardigan, try a jersey blazer. You can shop my favorites {including the one I'm wearing -- 25% off TODAY!} here ::
So now I sign off for some much-needed vacation time... Until the week after next, stay stylish!
