December is only the beginning of winter, so most of us have a long couple of COLD months ahead! I am all about finding a great warm coat that you can wear year after year and will actually keep you WARM while also being stylish and flattering. Thanks to Von Maur, I was able to find the perfect coat for not only myself, but for Harrison and Lila too!
Let’s start with me. This coat is what DREAMS ARE MADE OF. It is so soft, SO warm and I love the warm tone and the layered look. It goes with any color and has a hood for super cold days! It’s an investment piece, but well worth it and will stay classic and timeless.
Harrison is actually very picky and normally opposed to what I pick out for him (which I love to remind him is uncalled for because styling people is literally MY JOB), but he has not taken this coat (navy color available in store) off of his body except to sleep at night (slight exaggeration but you get it! I love how it looks like it has multiple layers. It’s the perfect weight and so easy to dress up or down. Win win! Also makes a great Christmas gift for your husband if you’re the last minute type!
Last but certainly nowhere near least, let’s talk about Lila the tiny snowman-puffball-marshmallow. Babies get cold, y’all. I am always concerned with whether she’s too hot, too cold, or anywhere in between. But on cold nights, this is the coat I stick her into (It always reminds me of A Christmas Story where Ralphie’s little brother is yelling, ‘I can’t move my arms!’ because it has a similar effect on Lila). The point is that at this age, she needs to look as cute as humanly possible while also avoiding colds. This coat goes with any outfit, is soooo cozy and obviously - cute! Checks all the boxes.
