Loren Hope Sleek Silver Collection

Happy Tuesday! I'm super excited to be partnering up with one of my favorite jewelry brands, Loren Hope, to share some of their Sleek Silver collection with you. If you don't follow Loren Hope or haven't seen her jewels, you are MISSING OUT. I have been in love with her stuff for awhile now; it's so fun, unique, colorful and made here in the USA which I love. Her spring collection is all about SILVER. Although I am more of a gold girl, I have to tell you I've been wearing these bracelets all. the. time. The metal and stones are so pretty, and they're perfect for dressing up or down.

I have always had big wrists, y'all. I don't have those tiny petite slender wrists that look good with anything on them and bangles that almost fall off. I have to shove most bangles over my knuckles to get them on and sometimes I just ditch the bracelets because of it. That's why I love this wrap bracelet and adjustable cuff. They are easy to put on, easy to adjust and don't hurt my wrists.

These bracelets are so versatile; you could dress them up for a wedding or cocktail party, and down with a t-shirt and jeans. My shorts + top + earrings are linked.

Shop them, plus more of my favorite Loren Hope pieces below.

Chambray + White

Happy Monday! Today I'm setting out to cure your Monday blues with the cutest chambray top for spring and summer. It's embroidered, the straps come to a V in the back, it's swingy around the middle and looks expensive but it's from GAP, y'all... AND it's 40% off today!

Here's a preppy spring look with some edgy twists...

Also, I totally forgot my strapless bra (major fail) while shooting this look, so you'll take one of two things away from these photos - the conclusion that Courtney needs to wear a bra, OR "Hey, I could do this top without a bra!"

I LOVE these espadrilles because although you can't tell in the photo, they're textured metallic. They go with everything, are slimming on the legs/ankles and add some prep to any look.

These earrings have been a major favorite of mine, as well as my new sunglasses with a rose gold lens. Shop the full outfit below, necklace is linked HERE.

Flirty Swim Suits | Ruffles + Scallops + Designer Dupes

Happy Thursday! I'm leaving for California next week, so in light of beachy travels I'm sharing some of my favorite bathing suits to get you summer-ready. I have found some of my favorite suits this season at unexpected places AND I've found a great designer dupe that I have to fill you in on...

LOFT Swim has some amazing scalloped pieces that look like Marysia at a fraction of the price (like this black one)! I wouldn't normally post a bikini photo because yikes! but I wanted you to see how it looks on. *PSA - I've found that the LOFT Swim tops run a little big, while the bottoms were true to size (I got medium in both and could have used a small top).

JCrew has some great Marysia dupes, too! They're all linked at the bottom of the post.

How cute is this orange bikini with hints of ruffle detailing?! Plus it's on super sale. I really like the quality and the fit of the LOFT bikinis I've bought. I'm done with my Target days and now really value a well-fitting, flattering suit. I can attest that both of these flattering and comfortable!

Shop these, and more of my favorite swim suits below.

Tie-Front Tops

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm sharing one of my favorite spring trends, tie-front blouses. I always love tying up a button-down or tee in front for a different look, but I've recently found some that are actually MADE to tie. This is amazing because it takes less effort, and makes it a lot less awkward (AKA accidentally showing midriff through your DIY knot). This puts a new "twist" (pun intended) on a classic chambray and I love it!

I also love how many of these tops are higher in the front and longer in the back, making them perfect for pairing with higher waisted pants or shirts.

I think it's acceptable to wear white denim all year long, but now that spring is here it is OFFICIALLY acceptable. I paired this top with my favorite white jeans, easy + lightweight earrings, plus bangles + espadrilles for an easy springy look.

My particular top has sold out :( but not to worry - there are plenty to be had! I've linked all my favorites below ::

The Perfect Spring Jumpsuit

Happy Tuesday! We came back from the beach to 38 degree temperatures and I am so NOT pleased, y'all... Scratch last week's post that spring is officially here! In the meantime, I'm sharing some spring inspiration with my new favorite jumpsuit. I splurged a little bit on this one but it is SO worth it. This jumpsuit is flattering, SO COMFY, lightweight, and easy to get in and out of (because we all know the pain that is using the ladies' room in a jumper or a romper - it can be TOUGH.) Oh, and most importantly? It has pockets (!!)

This jumpsuit is awesome for so many occasions... traveling, lunching, shopping, sitting, standing, walking (catch my drift?) Basically anything. And, it comes in another color which I'm highly contemplating biting the bullet on!

Spring Things

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm sharing a few fun things with you. First of all, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it is OFFICIALLY spring. The reason I feel like I can do this is that I've looked at the 15 day forecast and there are only TWO days that get below 60. So I'm jumping the gun and putting away my boots, heavy sweaters and outerwear (praise hands!!)

*I also have a quick apology / explanation of sorts. Lately, I have been feeling super behind and guilty about not blogging as regularly or frequently as I should. Same with social media. There have been days where I honestly just don't feel like it and days where I just DON'T. HAVE. TIME. I have had to remind myself numerous times that I am not a full-time blogger. I am a full time wardrobe and interior stylist, and the blog began as a place for my clients to be able to come and get inspiration. I love how it has grown and I absolutely love blogging, but I've found myself comparing my blog, my following, my posts, etc. to other bloggers and have decided to cut myself some slack. [Do any other bloggers who have other jobs struggle with this?!]
SO, what that means is you'll see phases where I blog a ton (probably because I just had a photo shoot so I have lots of content to share), and phases where I'm lucky if I blog once a week. I hope you still follow along and keep up!

Enough talk, let's get to today's post. 3 things...

1 | new specs from GLASSESUSA
First up, my experience with GlassesUSA! I don't need glasses to see on a regular basis, but when I worked in print advertising and was looking at the computer screen or editing print all day long, my eyes started kind of freaking out. Years ago, I got my first glasses and wore them at that job but honestly forgot about them and actually lost them in between moves. When GlassesUSA reached out, I was super excited to choose some fun new specs!

It took me awhile to get used to these because they're pretty big. I know that's the style, but I was a little hesitant.

I was surprised with how easy the process was, and how great the pricing was. I've been asked by people what designer brand these are, what designer site these came from. This particular pair is only $89. Click HERE to browse all their awesome collections! And click HERE if you love this cold-shoulder top as much as I do, and need one in your closet.

*this post is sponsored by GlassesUSA, but all opinions are my own.

2 | spring PILLOW REFRESH
Anyone else start running around their house like a psycho making decor changes when warm weather hits? It drives Harrison crazy, but I love doing some "spring cleaning" aka redecorating and using a season change as my excuse. While Harrison was out of town this weekend, I did a simple little pillow refresh. I love how the tones brighten our room up!

I also put up these "X" + "0" prints above our night stands. I purchased them on etsy and then printed and framed them. They pull in a pop of peach like the leopard pillow.

Loft Sale Picks

Happy Monday! Today is the LAST day of 40% off everything at Loft, so I'm here with some favorites! I am absolutely loving Loft's selection lately. Sometimes they can be a little bit hit or miss, but their most recent items are pretty yummy; so many cute spring patterns, off-the-shoulder goodness and pretty colors! A few highlights that I LOVE for spring -

this one-shoulder number

this tasseled cape with arm holes (major bonus because I hate when ponchos and capes slide off you constantly!) that I'll be bringing with me for cool nights out.

...Can you tell I'm majorly into navy and stripes this spring? Plus, there are some awesome online exclusives, some SUPER cute shoes and so much more. Shop it all below ::

What's in my Bag | Tried & True Daily Must-Haves

Happy Hump Day! Today I'm sharing the things that I've worn + used time and time again, that never fail me. Here's a quick roundup of items I always have with or on me, at all times. And most of them are super budget-friendly! (Harrison, are you reading this?! I CAN be budget-friendly!)

TOTE | This is one of my favorite tote bags, which also happens to be one of the least expensive bags I own ($60 say whaat!). I love the structure and simplicity of this and it now comes in a deep green which I think I have to snag (Okay, I don't think - I KNOW I will be buying this)

SUNNIES | We can't live without sunnies and my current favorites are these Le Specs. I just discovered this brand and am really impressed! Love the shape, love the color & especially love the price ($69!) I'm linking mine, plus a few other favorites below...

ARMANI LIP MAGNET LIQUID LIPSTICK | If you haven't tried these, I am telling you now YOU ARE MISSING OUT. This is one of, if not THE, best lip colors I've ever used. It's like a cross between a gloss and a lipstick; goes on wet with lots of moisture, then dries matte without looking cracky/crusty, and it stays on for hours on end. The colors are fantastic and the size is perfect for throwing in a tote, clutch, or even pocket. You'll thank me later. (I have colors 400 and 505)

ARM CANDY | I've gotten in the habit of throwing these bracelets in my purse because I often leave the house without anything on my wrists. You can never go wrong with gold & tortoise shell, and the fact that JCrew has kept this pave link bracelet in stock season after season proves I'm not the only one who feels this way. The tortoise shell bangles are on sale - yay! They're all linked below (photos of tortoise aren't showing for some reason... just click to see them!)

PLANNER | So many people can do this phone calendar thing and I just cannot make it work. I've found that I have to physically write something down in order for my brain to register it. I love a good planner and this year I actually found mine at Target! (Sugar Paper, for the win).

What are your tried & true must-haves? I'd love to hear if I'm missing out!

A Light + Springy Look

Happy Heart Day! Instead of sharing a Valentine's look (because let's be honest... it's a little too late for that), I'm sharing a light springy look because 1) I'm getting to that point where I can't wait for spring, 2) I am obsessed with the springy weather we've been having lately and 3) we are headed to Florida in March and California in April and shopping for these trips makes me super excited!

This top is super light-weight, comes in multiple colors and is on-budget at just $59. It will be perfect for warm days with white jeans and booties as we transition into spring! Not to mention a great beachy top for any warm-weather trips you've got planned.

I put a tank under this particular color because it's a little bit sheer (the other colors are more opaque- I've seen them all in person) I think you'd be fine without one but since this is a G-rated blog, I'll keep it classy. Here's a view at all the colors / patterns...

Can we also talk about the fact that I haven't washed my hair in 3 days (probably amplifying the fact that I desperately need highlights)? This braid was the perfect solution, and it helped me show off my cutie chinoiserie tassel earrings! (sidenote- if you'd like a tutorial for this braid-thing, comment and let me know!)

White jeans are HARD to do, y'all. Since this is one of my clients' top shopping list items for spring and summer, I'm always on the hunt for flattering, thick-enough-but-not-too-thick, stretchy, comfortable pair of white jeans. This pair is by far the best I've found yet. The best part? They're at Nordstrom Rack and under $100.
